Christmas SAGE 2023 The Bowyage(SAGE Crisma Edition 2023)

I quite enjoyed this one! It's definitely a difficult, but fair experience. The enemies make great use of your abilities, often punishing you for trying to rush them, but figuring out how to deal with them properly was neat! The graphics and music also nail that NES, but also early PC/DOS aesthetic very well!

This game really nails the NES-era vibe it's going for. The attacks feel responsive, there's a nice variety of enemies that force you to react in different ways, and the cutscene art is pretty sick too. The difficulty can be tough, but thankfully there are several different difficulty settings.
