Welcome to my project: Ashura The Glitch.
A Sonic the Hedgehog Metroidvania inspired by the Metroid series and Axiom Verge.
Explore a non linear map and gain abilities both familiar and non familiar to the Sonic series.
This demo contains:
- 3 save files
- An "abilitiease" tutorial level
- 3 Interconnected areas in an open map with no loading screens
- A bonus unlockable co-op mode
The aim of this project:
- To see how quickly I can make a game by re-using assets
- To learn new scripting techniques that will make finishing my first fan game much easier
- To see how much I can get out of the concept of a one button Metroidvania with Sonic gameplay
- To see how far I can push the Open Surge engine
I recommend reading the README before booting up the game.
