Back on ye-olde SFGHQ forums, I had a thread called Musical Similarities...

The idea is that you post 2 or more songs that sounds similar in some way or another. It doesn't have to be big, even the tiniest of details can be enough.

To start off...

Today, I noticed Aqua Planet at just 1 second in...


Sounds like it could lead right into:


The hard boiled heavies theme, at the 0:07 mark.

Since this is the OP, I'll go ahead and do 2. This is a weird one... I've put the connection together in my head for years, but I could never figure out what it was, until yesterday...

The beginning bassline of Quartz Quadrant Bad Future JP...


Sounds an awful lot like the main part of Walk the Dinosaur (0:50), of all things...
