SAGE 2024 - Demo Sonic Grind (SAGE 2024 Demo!)

this is SUCH a killer idea. i'm glad someone else sees how perfectly sonic and tony hawk work together! loved all the trick animations in particular.

some suggestions:
- you might want to mention the controls for rolling (hold jump)
- i was often finding that i was starting a trick, not realizing i was still a half inch above ground, and wishing jump and trick were on different buttons, or that there was a safety buffer that prevented a trick from starting if i was close enough to the ground and buffering a jump there instead?
- there were some gaps between rails that felt slightly too long without flow meter, and slightly too short with it, but i might not have been approaching them correctly

anyway this project is super cool and i can't wait to see more!

This is such a cool concept with a lot of effort behind it. I wanted to ask for a tutorial video since there's quite a bit of a learning curve. Keep up the good work!

Fantastic idea! I am very, very bad at this (as I was playing Jet Set Radio for instance) but I really enjoy the concept of this little demo.
The graphics are absolutely fantastic, I love the colors and how well the Sonic Advance-style sprites blend with the 3D models!
