Overview
Super Infiniboss: The Gauntlet is an endless boss battle arcade platformer. It's about you, an ever-changing boss, and tons of projectiles. Choose a character, get as many points as you can, and work towards unlocking more characters. (Just a note though: This SAGE demo unlocks everybody available in it from the start!)
The boss of the game is split into four modules, which switch between a few different attacks. When you damage each module badly enough, the boss will change out the attacks on the modules slightly and change up which elements it's using, forcing you to adapt to a new strategy each time.
Fortunately, most characters have unique abilities to help you out!
The characters!
The SAGE 2024 Demo features 4 of the game's playable characters:
MAXIE (any pronouns)
A disaster relief robot.
Special: Slide for temporary invulnerability.
REGINA (she/her)
Formerly a military droid, she now works as a doctor.
Special: Regenerates health over time, but overloads if she reaches max health.
MINIMU (he/him)
Still seeking greater power.
He does not have a special, but maybe he has a greater secret to him...
...or maybe he's just hard mode. Who can say?
PERI (she/her)
A rhythm game fan who over time has also become a brave hero.
Special: Time your barrier to block incoming attacks.
Play how you want!
The game lets you play it in several different ways. Go for a high score, go for a high level, there's even a campaign focused on varied level objectives that's built to help introduce the unique pros and cons of each character! Combine with how differently each character plays, and how many game modes there are, and you can generally approach this game how you want to.
There's one thing that's always the same though: The fast-paced arcade action.
...oh yeah, also...
...you can flip gravity.

Controls!
Both keyboard and gamepad are supported. Only keyboard supports remapping currently. For non-Xbox controllers, use something like DS4Windows.
Default keyboard controls:
Arrow keys: Move
D: Jump
F: Character-specific special action
G: Gravity flip
Default Xbox gamepad controls:
Left stick/D-pad: Move
A: Jump
X: Character-specific special action
B: Gravity flip
