Project Overview


Sonic Advance Revamped is a remake and reimagining of the original Sonic Advance on the GBA using the Sonic Worlds Delta engine; it's a passion project designed to be the definitive way to play Sonic Advance, with better hazard placement, a 16:9 aspect ratio, patched-up levels and bosses, completely redesigned Special Stages, the smoothest sprites from each GBA Sonic title (with some special cases and custom sprites here and there), re-implemented unused/beta elements, and true classic Sonic controls to make the game feel even better. Features set for the future include an exclusive Team Chaotix Mission Mode, 8 Unique Playable Main Characters (7 of which are playable in this Demo), a fleshed-out Tiny Chao Garden, New Levels and Music Tracks, and more! For this particular Demo, Sonic's Insta-Shield is swapped-out for his Drop Dash! This move will be an early unlockable in the final version.

Please keep in mind while playing:
The first Boss, Sonic's Drop Dash, and Casino Paradise Act 1 are not 100% complete and are works-in-progress. They are functional, but please know that there may be issues or bugs relating to them that require further development. Thank you!

this is a really good revamp/fangame. I really enjoyed the demo and how Blaze played when I played as her.

If I could give some suggestions on what characters to add it would be Mighty, Ray, And Honey. Just A thought tho, Amazing work!

Advance 3 Partner Abilities is a feature meant for Advance 3 and not for Advance 1, just as the "Boost Mode" in Advance 2 wouldn't fit with Advance 1 (though you CAN use Tails or Cream to fly in Duo Mode as it is). The most I can see adding to Duo Mode is a swap mechanic like Encore, though due to certain things pertaining to the Story Mode, this would likely be something you can only utilize in a No Save Mode. Fix the boss in Neo Green Hill Act 2. You're supposed to take damage from the wheels and you can't damage him from the wheels. also, try adding mini bosses?

also, i replayed the demo recently (because i haven't tried Amy yet) and after selecting my 2 characters, it crashed. Probably something with my wonky laptop, idk.

Neo Green Hill's Boss is incomplete, though that's actually something I didn't know about. I checked, frame by frame, and yes, you are supposed to be able to damage and take damage from the vehicle's wheels.
Not going to add minibosses because that seems wholly unnecessary for this game.
The game crashing for you is likely something on your end, as no one else has experienced this issue.

you can only damage from the wheels within the 5 second temporary invinsibility when taking damage
 
I don't think anyone has found this, but there is a bug with Shadow's walljump. In NGHZ Act 2 during the boss, you can walljump on the invisible barrier to the left and right of where the screen locks. Also the walljump fells kinda sluggish in my opinion, he should move down a lot slower.

Not a bug, and I don't think you know what "sluggish" means. Someone who steals art shouldn't be complaining anyway :)

well i'm just trying to express my opinion. No offence, mate. Besides, I've stopped ripping sprites because it's just a waste of time doing it, and besides, those unauthorized sprites I had ripped are now gone. And I'm not kidding around when I say it, this is true.
 
When i complete the boss of NGRZ and Break the capsule, my game stay with a black screen and if i tried to reset the game ,the game crash
 
I love this demo so much! No more playing Sonic Advance on an emulator. Now there are more characters and PC controls! Great work!
