Let me rephrase that. Iizuka is a horrible director not a bad game designer. Hes supervising/helping the direction for Forces i generally think he should take a break from directing/designing sonic games and see how it goes. Iizuka changed Windy Valley (the beta version is SO much better imo)...

Forces looks like shit. There is PS2 levels of texture work, Sonic is pale and looks like hes made out of plastic. I'd take the Hedgehog Engine 1 over 2 any day.

Knowing IDWs work, i trust them. They usually try to stick to the source material, and i am not really fond of Archies/DiCs characters. I believe they did some Transformers comics, and TMNT comics. I remember reading one of their TMNT comics and i really liked the writing.

I've been loving the palette choices you've made for the sprites. Sonic looks nice in particular, for some reason it reminds me of the 8-bit titles on Game Gear and Master System. I am excited to see this in SAGE 2017.
